South Korea's detained President Yoon Suk Yeol called on Sunday for people to express their opinions in a peaceful way while asking police to show tolerance, according to his lawyer.
Yoon was shocked and frustrated by the violent incident that occurred at the Seoul Western District Court, where angry protesters supporting him stormed the building and smashed windows early on Sunday, the lawyer said.
