The EU would prefer for the United States not to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court, as the Trump administration announced earlier this month with a six-month initial grace period, an EU spokesperson said on Wednesday.
"When it comes to preferred options, our preferred option would be that the US actually doesn't go forward with these sanctions," the spokesperson told reporters.
