At least five workers were killed and 10 others seriously injured when a boiler exploded at a private pharmaceutical company in Sri City, an integrated business city and special economic zone in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, local broadcaster NDTV reported.
Rescue and emergency teams were dispatched to the scene following the explosion.
State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha is expected to visit the site in the wake of the deadly incident.
