Israel says ex-Labour leader Corbyn among 12 Britons to be refused entry

Israel announced on Tuesday that it will deny entry to 12 British figures—including former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and 10 other members of parliament—in retaliation for the United Kingdom leading a 12-nation Western coalition imposing trade bans on West Bank settlements.

Israel said Tuesday it would deny entry to 12 Britons if they wish to visit, including Jeremy Corbyn, former Labour Party leader and staunch advocate for Palestinians, in retaliation for UK sanctions targeting settlements.

Israel listed 11 members of parliament on the refuse-entry list. They also included Zarah Sultana, who joined Corbyn in breaking away from the Labour Party to form the left-wing Your Party.
