Pakistan PM Sharif to attend funeral of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei
Pakistan's foreign ministry announced Thursday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Iran to attend the state funeral of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the state funeral of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Pakistan's foreign ministry said on Thursday.
The 86-year old cleric, a fierce critic of Washington, ruled Iran for 36 years before he was killed on the first day of the U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Iran on February 28.
His funeral will begin in Tehran on July 4 and conclude with his burial on July 9 in his hometown of the northeastern holy city of Mashad.
