Russia pounds Ukraine with hundreds of drones: Zelensky

Russia launched hundreds of drone attacks on Ukraine on Wednesday in one of the longest and largest aerial assaults of the war, killing six people and wounding dozens across the country, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a statement.

Russia launched at least 800 drones at ⁠Ukraine ⁠on Wednesday during one of the longest ⁠and largest attacks of the war, killing six people and wounding dozens across the country, President Volodymyr ⁠Zelensky ⁠said.

"Since midnight, at least 800 Russian drones have already been launched, and the attack ⁠is ongoing, with additional drones entering our country's airspace," Zelensky said on X, ⁠adding that ‌Russia ‌targeted Ukraine's ⁠western regions ‌closest to the borders with ⁠NATO ⁠countries.
