Ukrainian president makes 1st visit to Syria for talks with Sharaa
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has made his first visit to Syria to hold a meeting with his counterpart Ahmed al-Sharaa, two Syrian sources told Reuters on Sunday.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy arrived in Damascus Sunday for his first official visit to Syria, the SANA news agency reported.
Zelenskiy was welcomed by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani upon arrival at Damascus International Airport, alongside Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, SANA said.
Zelenskiy is expected to hold talks with President Ahmad Al-Sharaa during his trip to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
