China signs $15.8B deal with Airbus to procure aircraft

China on Wednesday announced a deal with Airbus to procure aircraft worth over $15 billion, state media reported.
The deal signed by China Eastern Airlines will see the European aerospace corporation selling 101 A320NEO series aircraft to the Chinese airliner.
According to the airliner, the aircraft are scheduled for delivery in batches between 2028 and 2032, and the total cost is around $15.8 billion, according to the Beijing-based daily Global Times.
