US President Donald Trump on Saturday announced the formation of a new military coalition aimed at combating criminal gangs across the Americas.
The announcement came during the Shield of Americas Summit, where leaders from multiple countries gathered to discuss regional security.
"What we are doing is a service not just for the Middle East, but for the entire world against extremely dangerous killers in Iran," Trump said, speaking to attendees.
