A magnitude 5.7 earthquake hit Indonesia's Java region Tuesday, according to the US Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) southeast of Jatiroto.
It occurred at a depth of 138 kilometers (85.7 miles).
There were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage.
