Trump: Thursday is deadline for Ukraine to accept U.S.-backed peace proposal to end war
US President Donald Trump has suggested a Thursday deadline as "appropriate" for the Ukrainian government to respond to the latest peace plan for Ukraine. Speaking on Fox News Radio on Friday, Trump said: "I've had a lot of deadlines, but if things are working, well, you tend to extend the deadlines. But Thursday is, we think, an appropriate time."

U.S. President Donald Trump said in a radio interview that he thinks Thursday is an appropriate deadline for Ukraine to accept a U.S.-backed peace proposal to end Russia's war in the country.
"I've had a lot of deadlines, but if things are working well, you tend to extend the deadlines. But Thursday is we think is an appropriate time," Trump told Fox News Radio's The Brian Kilmeade Show on Friday.
