Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday urged his country's allies to keep their sanctions against Russia in place until Ukraine receives security guarantees.
In a post on X following a call with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Zelensky added that "the Russians simply want to buy time, not end the war".
