Any peace that entails the surrender of Ukraine to invading Russian forces "cannot be a real peace," Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Tuesday while visiting Kyiv.
Speaking alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Meloni said the defeat of Ukraine also risks leading to the invation of other European states, and pledged continued Italian military support for Kyiv.
Meloni added that Italy aims to host an international conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in April.
