The Greek Cypriot administration and Israel on Monday began a joint military drill, according to local media.
Media reports said the military exercise, which will last through Thursday, is mainly taking place on the Greek part of the divided island, which the Greek Cypriot administration shares with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The drill is the largest to date between the two sides.
Israel's air force and navy are also taking part in the exercise.
