German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has spoken on the phone with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, with their telephone conversation focusing primarily on Russia's invasion of Ukraine, German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said.
"The chancellor and the secretary-general called for the agreed humanitarian corridors to be implemented in order to protect civilians and allow humanitarian access," it said.
