Biden still expects to meet Xi in 'near term'

US President Joe Biden said Thursday he still expected to meet Xi Jinping in the "near term" after angering China by referring to its leader as a "dictator."
"I expect to be meeting with President Xi sometime in the future, near term," Biden told a joint news conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
