19 killed, 27 injured in central Syria bus collision

At least 19 people were killed and 27 others injured Saturday when two passenger buses collided on a highway in central Syria, according to Alikhbaria TV.
The collision occurred on the Damascus-Deir ez-Zor highway between the cities of Palmyra and Al-Sukhnah, the broadcaster said, adding that the casualty count was preliminary.
