The Israeli army said Wednesday it launched "broad scale" airstrikes targeting Iranian sites in the capital Tehran.
The army did not provide any specific details about the bombed targets.
The new attacks came shortly after the army said that it had struck dozens of facilities belonging to Iran's internal security forces and the paramilitary Basij force in Tehran.
