US drones flying over Gaza in search of captives: Report

The US has been using unarmed MQ-9 Reaper drones to search for captives held by Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip. These efforts are aimed at gathering intelligence about the condition and whereabouts of the hostages, including at least 10 individuals with American citizenship. As of October 7, 242 Israelis were reported to be held captive by Palestinian factions in Gaza, according to the Israeli army.
