Türkiye's prominent defense industry entities continue to impress with their ongoing agreements. BAYKAR, ASELSAN, and ROKETSAN have established new partnerships with Saudi Arabia, all under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries.
Baykar and Saudi Arabia's Military Industries (SAMI) have inked an agreement for the localized production of unmanned aerial vehicles in Saudi Arabia.
ASELSAN and the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) have signed a memorandum of understanding on electro-optical systems and guidance kit technologies.
Similarly, ROKETSAN and NCMS have established a memorandum of understanding on smart munitions and guidance kit technologies.
The President of Defense Industry, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, commented, "The collaboration agreement with our friendly and allied nation, Saudi Arabia, will fortify and energize the defense industries of both nations. With our export-oriented growth fueled by our groundbreaking UAV technologies, contributing to the advanced technologies of our allies is a significant achievement for our nation."
