WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE PLAN FOR GAZA?
From a broad perspective, the plan is neither comprehensive nor final.
Positive aspects include ending the conflicts and genocide, providing humanitarian aid to Gaza, and affirming no annexation or occupation will occur.
However, it remains unclear what sanctions Israel would face if it fails to comply with the agreement.
SOME SAY THERE ARE NO GAINS / DO YOU AGREE?
The ceasefire plan announced after Trump-Netanyahu talks is not a final document.
I expect Hamas may request changes.
The draft does not provide a final solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. It is more of an interim measure rather than a lasting peace agreement.
WHAT DOES A CEASEFIRE MEAN FOR BOTH SIDES?
Starting with the US, Trump needs a success. For Israel, the draft would achieve two of its military objectives.
For Palestinians, the plan is an interim solution.
I'm not sure if Hamas will accept it, but even if persuaded, I believe the Palestinian struggle will continue.
SOME CLAIM THE PLAN WILL LEAD TO GAZA'S DESTRUCTION—IS THIS TRUE?
The ceasefire draft aims first to end the destruction caused by the conflict in Gaza. Israel will gradually withdraw, and Gaza will not be occupied or annexed.
The two-state solution remains on the table and cannot be ruled out.
WHAT AWAITS THE REGION?
Theocratic Israel will continue to receive US support and will not abandon its vision of the "Promised Land."
The Palestinian side will not back away or reject the two-state solution, as recent resistance shows strong commitment.
Global support for the Palestinian cause has increased.
I believe the two-state solution will become more prominent and achievable in the next 10 years.
