NASA, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, warned that a huge meteorite could fall on Earth in the year 2046.
An asteroid the size of an Olympic swimming pool has been tracked for some time by NASA, it was discovered on February 26 at an observatory in the Atacama region and they named it "2023 DW".
According to what was reported, the meteorite has a diameter of about 50 meters and there is a possibility that the impact will occur on February 14, 2046, that is, in about 23 more years.
However, it is not yet clear where on Earth it could fall.
For NASA, the asteroid is high on the risk list, so orbital analysts will continue to monitor and update predictions as more data is received.
