Iconic 'Gypsy Girl' mosaic attracts over 2 mln visitors since 2011

The Zeugma Mosaic Museum, one of the world's largest mosaic museums located in Turkey's southeast, has attracted over 2.02 million visitors since its opening in July 2011, said a senior official.

The museum in Gaziantep province, which opened to the public in July 2011, is home to unique ancient artefacts such as mosaics, Roman-era fountains, a bronze sculpture of Mars-the god of war in Roman mythology-and the famous Gypsy Girl.
