Historical fabric of Gaza heavily damaged in Israeli attacks
Significant historical structures in Gaza City's old town area, including the Great Omari Mosque (Ulu Mosque), Pasha Palace, Gold Market, Omar Mukhtar Street, and the Church of the Latin Monastery, have suffered extensive damage during the two-year-long Israeli attacks.
Known as the bearers of Gaza's millennia-old cultural heritage, these structures, as well as many surrounding streets and historical areas, have experienced severe devastation due to the impact of the destruction.
