Local and international observers state that Israel is using 'hunger and thirst as weapons.' In Gaza, with a population of approximately 2.3 million, the number of people displaced by Israeli attacks and expulsion orders has reached 2 million, with many having been displaced multiple times. Displaced Palestinians, lacking basic necessities, are struggling to survive in makeshift tents or overcrowded spaces — often in schools where there is a shortage of hygiene supplies, insufficient toilets, and the spread of infectious diseases.
