Türkiye's native electric smart car, Togg's T10X, sets new delivery records

Türkiye's dream of a 'domestic car project,' which has been in the works for years, became a reality in the Türkiye Century. Last month, Türkiye's car Togg's T10X model, the country's first native electric smart device, was introduced to users at the Technology Campus in Gemlik district of Bursa. After reaching this record number, production lines and quality control processes are rapidly continuing as the number of shifts increases. The T10X model is offered with two different hardware and battery options. Türkiye's first native electric smart device, the T10X by Togg, started to meet its owners this year as it came off the production line. With its intellectual and industrial property rights 100% owned by Türkiye, Togg's T10X model is offered to users with two different hardware and battery options. In March, the first serial production vehicles came off the line, and the vehicles will be delivered to users who have won the draw as of May. While more deliveries were made in June and July, a new record was set in August with the introduction of 1,965 T10X models to users. Thus, the total delivery figure for the May-July period when deliveries began was exceeded in August in just one month. Togg, which recently increased the number of shifts for more production and reached a total of 3,400 deliveries, is aiming for a new record in September as the work accelerates. The capacity of the Togg Technology Campus has been determined as 175,000 vehicles per year. With a production goal of 1 million by the end of 2032, 28,000 units will be produced this year. The Togg Technology Campus, officially opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on October 29, 2022, houses body, paint, assembly, and battery facilities, as well as the Prototype Development and Test Center. With 250 robots in operation on the production lines, the campus also stands out for having Europe's cleanest paint shop. The campus, which has a 1.6-kilometer test track, employed 9,000 people during its construction. Currently, more than 3,250 people work at Togg, with women comprising 26% of the workforce. When the production capacity at the campus reaches 175,000, employment is expected to reach 4,300 people. The production facility consists of approximately 250,000 square meters of covered area, including bodywork, paint, assembly, and battery sections.
