Featuring a single-engine, tandem cockpit and modern avionics suite, Hürjet is expected to play a critical role in the Air Forces Command's inventory, leveraging its superior performance features.
The Hürjet project was initiated to be included in the Turkish Air Force inventory, replacing the T-38 aircraft used within the scope of Jet Evolvement Training and the F-5 aircraft used in acrotim demonstrations.
The TAI aims to produce two of the aircraft each month after 2025, according to previous statements by the head of the company.
The first safe flight in the configuration determined within the scope of the project was carried out on Sunday. The flight was successful.
