At Turkish Technic, employees voluntarily transformed end-of-life seat fabrics into school bags in their own workshops.
The bags were gifted to children affected by the earthquake we experienced in 2023.
In this upcycling project, the traces of the past became a source of hope for future.
Regarding the implementation of the project, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines Technical Inc., stated: "The major earthquakes we experienced in recent years have profoundly affected all of our lives. As Turkish Airlines Technical Inc., we view supporting earthquake-affected regions as a humanitarian and social responsibility."
