Izmir is preparing to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye with breathtaking events throughout the day.
As part of the October 29 Republic Day celebrations that will continue across the city, the pride of the Turkish Air Force, the Turkish Stars, are preparing for their 500th domestic show.
Residents of Izmir watched the Turkish Stars' rehearsal flight with admiration. The Turkish Stars' Republic Day Show can be viewed from Gündoğdu Square on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:30 PM.
The Turkish Stars will perform a breathtaking aerial show for the people of Izmir with their NF-5 aircraft.
