Turkish defense industry-developed mortar systems, which have been integrated into the inventory of security forces, are also drawing attention abroad
One of the companies under the Repkon Group, will showcase its products and capabilities at the 16th International Defense Industry Fair, which will be held in Istanbul from July 25th to 28th.
Recently, RSS has developed mortar systems that have been included in the inventory of security forces in Türiye. The company has already delivered its products to two countries, and discussions with three other countries have reached the signing stage.
At the fair, the 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher , 40mm Revolver Grenade Launcher, and 37/38mm Revolver Tear Gas Grenade Launcher are expected to attract particular interest.
RSS has also adapted its mortar systems to various platforms. As part of the cooperation protocol signed with Asisguard at SAHA EXPO'22 Fair, the first national armed drone system, Songar, has been equipped with a qualified 6-round revolver grenade launcher, known for being the "lightest in its class" and made of steel material. This integration will be showcased at the RSS stand.
Additionally, HAVELSAN's BARKAN-2 Autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle will showcase a qualified 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher integration, and HAVELSAN's Autonomous Heavy Class Unmanned Ground Vehicle KAPGAN will feature 40mm Revolver and 40mm Tear Gas Grenade Launcher weapons at the HAVELSAN stand.
ASELSAN's ATNIS-100 40mm Grenade Launcher and Heavy Weapon Thermal Sight System, along with a 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher, will be displayed at the ASELSAN stand.
At its own stand, RSS will introduce various solutions that demonstrate its capabilities.
Repkon Foreign Trade Deputy General Manager Uğur Cem Gürpınar stated that there is intense demand for both RDS40-AGL 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher and RDS40-MGL 40mm Revolver Grenade Launcher from many regions around the world.
