Kaytaz börek chef Recep İbrahimoğlu stated that receiving the EU geographical indication means that the traditional delicacy is not only promoted within Türkiye but also recognized worldwide.
İbrahimoğlu mentioned that the registration of the dish also contributes to promoting the city and added, "It made us even happier to see such positive developments in Hatay, which was affected by the earthquake."
