In the disaster, in which the hospital was also flooded, many homes and businesses were flooded too. People trying to save those who were stranded in the flood were also dragged in the flood waters.
It is claimed that the people who were in the water with their vehicles and the firefighters who wanted to intervene in the first minutes of the waters were also submerged.
Abdullah Sincer, one of the people of the region, said that he has lived in Kemer for years and this is the first time he has encountered such a disaster.
Sincer stated that the works have been continuing since yesterday evening and that houses, workplaces and Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital have been flooded in the region.
