CHP supporters that do not get over defeat in May 14 elections insult fallen soldier after targeting earthquake victims

Regrettably, the offensive remarks did not stop there. These highly offensive and insulting comments on Ekşi Sözlük garnered significant backlash on the social media platform Twitter. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the presidential candidate of the 6-party coalition and its partner HDP, did not achieve the desired success in the presidential and parliamentary elections held on May 14. Notably, the significant increase in votes for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the earthquake-affected regions unsettled some CHP voters. Unfortunately, some supporters of the opposition bloc resorted to insulting and threatening the victims, displaying unacceptable behavior during this challenging time. The previous day, a tragic incident occurred in the Bestler-Dereler region of Şırnak, resulting in the martyrdom of four soldiers and a village guard during clashes with the terrorist organization PKK. A funeral ceremony was held in Tokat, the hometown of Martyr Specialist Sergeant Bayram Doğan. However, the relatives of the martyred sergeant expressed their discontent and frustration by smashing the wreath sent by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is supported by the PKK-linked HDP during his election campaign. During the funeral, wreaths were sent by the CHP and IYI Party, members of the 6-party coalition that partnered with the HDP for the election.
