Although all movies go through several montages that significantly reduce their length, the director would have asked the company to make the special effects for the whole 9 hours before ruling out anything.
"He insists on having the VFX of those 9 hours and on not working as before, which was choosing what he wants to keep and then doing the effects of that part," explains the reporter.
