Trump: Federal Reserve should lower interest rates to less than 1%

President Donald Trump once again targeted Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on Monday, telling reporters that he believes interest rates are far too high and should be reduced to 1% or less.

President Donald Trump on Monday renewed his attacks on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, saying interest rates should be at 1% or lower.

"We should be at 1%. We should be less than 1%," Trump said.
