Norway's King Harald V dead at age of 89 - palace
Norwegian King Harald has died at the age of 89, the royal house says, making his son Haakon the new king of Norway.

Norway's King Harald V, Europe's oldest reigning monarch, died on Friday at the age of 89, the royal palace announced.
"It is with deep sadness that we announce that His Majesty King Harald passed away today. King Harald passed away peacefully at Oslo UniversityHospital on Friday, August 28 at 6:35 am," it said in a statement.
