Ankara urges Russia, Ukraine to halt Black Sea strikes
Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called Saturday for a halt to Russian and Ukrainian strikes in the Black Sea following a series of attacks on civilian vessels, proposing the creation of a diplomatic mechanism to implement a moratorium.

The Turkish foreign minister on Saturday called for a "moratorium" on attacks by Russia and Ukraine in the Black Sea after a series of attacks on civilian ships there.
Hakan Fidan called for "the setting up of a mechanism allowing a moratorium to be declared" in an interview with Türkiye's state-run news agency Anadolu.
