The Russian Foreign Ministry warned on Thursday that tension was ratcheting up in the Arctic due to drills held by the NATO military alliance.
NATO said last month it had launched a mission called Arctic Sentry to strengthen its presence in the region, part of an effort to defuse tensions within the alliance prompted by U.S. President Donald Trump's push for the U.S. to acquire Greenland.
