Magnitude 6.8 earthquake strikes off Indonesia's Talaud Islands

A magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia's Talaud Islands on Saturday, occurring at a depth of 77 km (48 miles), according to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ).

An ⁠earthquake of magnitude ‍6.8 struck off ‌the ‍coast of Indonesia's Talaud Islands on Saturday, the German Research ⁠Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was ‌at a depth of ‍77 ‍km (47.85 miles), ‍GFZ said.
