China has seized 430 kilograms of smuggled cocaine following information shared by the US, the country's Public Security Ministry said Tuesday.
The drugs were seized on Nov. 26 from a suspicious international container at Shenzhen port in southern China's Guangdong province, Xinhua News reported.
"The case is under further investigation," the ministry said.
The seizure comes as Beijing and Washington have pledged to strengthen cooperation on global narcotics control.
