Türkiye is "closer than ever" to ending terrorism, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a statement on Wednesday, adding that he trusts the parliamentary commission to take the necessary steps for the country's security.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Wednesday that Türkiye is "closer than ever" to ridding the country of terrorism, expressing confidence that a parliamentary commission will take the right decisions for Türkiye's security.
Earlier this year, the bloody-minded PKK terror group announced its disarmament and dissolution. In August, Türkiye launched a parliamentary commission to oversee the process.
