German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Tuesday that he will participate remotely in a Thursday meeting of some 30 countries to discuss efforts to provide Ukraine with security support once there is a peace agreement with Russia.
"Security guarantees will play a role," he said at a news conference in Berlin.
