Syria says it holds Israel responsible for attacks in the south
The Syrian foreign ministry condemned Israeli strikes that killed members of the armed forces, security personnel, and civilians in the southern region.

Syria's foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that Israel holds full responsibility for the latest attacks on southern Syria and the consequences.
The ministry said it is keen to protect all Syrian citizens without exception, including the Druze minority.
Israel carried out strikes against Syrian government forces in southwestern Syria for a second day on Tuesday, vowing to keep the area demilitarized and to protect the Druze minority.
