Russia's Putin says economy is growing at robust pace

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday the economy continues to grow at a robust pace and Moscow is successfully coping with external challenges.
Russia's economy ministry this week improved its expectations for 2024 gross domestic product (GDP) growth to 2.8% from 2.3% in new forecasts, while envisaging a weaker rouble and shrinking current account surplus in the years to come.
