The BBC has released a report analyzing Turkish foreign policy, shedding light on Türkiye's impact in Africa.

The BBC analysis pointed finger at the revival of the Ottoman legacy, with a focus on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's efforts to elevate Türkiye as a major player in the global arena. It was reported that Türkiye has successfully rebranded itself, expanding its reach beyond national borders.



Türkiye stood out for offering a non-confrontational 'soft power' option in the region, unlike prominent global powers such as Russia and China.

The BBC also noted the strong sensitivity towards France in Africa.

Türkiye's labelling as an 'Afro-Eurasian' nation was cited in President Erdoğan's statement.



In the realm of analytical news, it was highlighted that Türkiye maintains 44 diplomatic missions across Africa. These channels have allowed Türkiye to strengthen its trade, humanitarian aid, education, and diplomatic relations with the continent.

In addition, the report also drew attention to the use of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by African countries in their efforts against terrorism.
