UNSC fails to agree on 'ceasefire' in war-torn Gaza Strip

The United Nations Security Council has once again failed to agree on a resolution on the Israeli offensive in Gaza, with the U.S. calling for "humanitarian pauses," while many council members are demanding a "humanitarian cease-fire" to deliver desperately needed aid and prevent more civilian deaths in Gaza.
