Turkey launches joint operation against PKK in northern Iraq
Turkey has launched a joint cross-border operation, using air and special forces against the PKK terror group's hideouts in Northern Iraq. Turkish defence minister Hulusi Akar announced the new campaign against the PKK terrorist organization, saying the military operation is "continuing successfully as planned."
