First Lady Erdoğan visits orphanage in Astana

First Lady Emine Erdoğan visited an orphanage in Kazakhstan's capital Astana in order to deliver aid from Turkey.

It was a warm welcome from the childern and the officials.

The Turkish aid agency TIKA organised the visit and First Lady Emine Erdoğan delivered the aid including stationery for the school to the officials.

The children welcomed her with flowers.

First Lady Emine Erdoğan visited the dormitorys and has been informed about the conditions.

The children presented their traditional music.

In addition, First Lady Erdoğan also looked paintings by the children and talked to them.

"I suppose you have painted this. It is really beautiful.", Emine Erdoğan said.

Furthermore, the children gave a performance for the First Lady. They presented traditional dances of both countries.

At the end of the visit Emine Erdoğan gave a speech. Emine Erdoğan said that She has the great pleasure to visit the place where these innocent children live and First Lady added that after she has seen these beautiful children she is touched and hopeful.
