Erdoğan says Biden warm to F-16 sales, eyeing Sweden's NATO accession
During a speech in Istanbul following Friday prayers, President Tayyip Erdogan stated that U.S. President Joe Biden was showing a positive attitude towards Turkey's request to purchase F-16 fighter jets and modernisation kits. However, Erdogan noted that Washington's primary concern seemed to be the ratification of Sweden's NATO membership.
