World Bank: World faces catastrophe from Russian invasion of Ukraine
World Bank head David Malpass said:"Above all, the war and the consequences of that are putting stress on poor people around the world. It's adding to the debt burden and overburden in many countries, and also the fragility of the world environment. One of the key transmission mechanisms is the shortages of food, of energy, and of fertilizer."
